How do we inform people that are ignorant of their lack of knowledge? Even though Congress passed a health care bill, the price of care is still an issue that needs to be addressed. By embedding real world cost information into a game, we can teach people to be more informed consumers. |
An infinite amount of random information. |
Did you know that eating bananas in the United States is bad for the environment? To inform the holier than thou "eco friendly vegans" I've created a sticker campaign. The Chiquita banana lady has been redrawn to disapprove of the amount of gas expended to ship bananas to America. For more information, visit the site. |
"Paintballs" are pushed around using blob tracking. The speed/direction of the blob pushes the paintball accordingly with very simple hit/velocity detection. When it hits the edge of the screen, it splatters. Made with openFrameworks and openCV, inspired by Hall & Oates. |
Booked is a Facebook application that plans your social life for you. After telling the application when you are available, it will automatically book you for events that your most compatible friends have submitted. It started as a critique of our increasing reliance on computers, but as it was clearly possible to code, I wanted to see if people would actually use it/take it seriously. |

This was the last intro video I did for the Randumb Show. Like all the intro videos I did for the show, I composed the music as well. The Randumb Show is the longest running student produced television show at Pepperdine University. Originally created by Mike Richards in 1995, I took over in 2001 as the third producer and host. |
This is a short that I wrote, co-directed, and recorded the audio for. The original screenplay started as a scene written for a creative writing class and expanded into a one act play. The quick animation style gives the short a post modern, existential feel that fits for the main theme of classification. |
This song has seen many iterations. Overproduced, underproduced, clean, dirty, etc. This particular version was used as the intro track for the Randumb Show. The composition of this song was much like a techno track. There is a riff that repeats over and over while different parts come in and change things up. It doesn't sound like techno though. |
