My first mashup experiment with openFrameworks. I'm doing blob detection with my webcam, to track movement. As the audio signal is processed, it's visualized as rectangles and placed wherever the blobs are detected. This is a very crude example and it's just the tip of the iceberg really.

I have long been interested in the rhythms of music and video. I have tried before, somewhat successfully, to sit and edit by hand video that felt like it was changing with the music. My world has been turned upside down by learning to use Max/MSP/Jitter. With these programs I can take video and audio clips and mix them together in a live situation.
